Welcome to Sleepy Dragon Campground where you will find the best nature has to offer in tranquil and beautiful scenery. Our 90 acre campground will open your eyes to native wildlife such as deer, beavers, rabbits and over 45 species of birds in their natural habitat. Campsites are large, shady and rustic sites providing plenty of room to explore or to just sit back and enjoy the tranquility of nature. We are a veteran-owned and managed campground and look forward to showing you the best hospitality there is to offer. Our dog friendly campground has plenty of room where your furry friend can enjoy space to run and play. In our campground you will find 135 shaded, rustic and spacious sites, with daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal sites. Sites vary in size to accommodate RV’s, large campers, pop ups and tents. We offer in-office discounts to veterans, First Responders, LEOs, Active-Duty Military, Senior Citizens (65+), and groups of 10 or more. Discounts are applied in the office at check-in with the appropriate ID or proof present for the discount.
Groups and families alike love all the amenities our campground has to offer. Play a game of outdoor chess, hike the back 40 acres, Swim in the pool or swimming pound, go down a slide at the playground, or enjoy a pizza and ice cream at the store. The convenience store next door to our large children’s playground also has some simple groceries, basic hygiene items, camping gear, children’s toys, snacks, slushies, mini donuts and so much more! Our pavilion next to the new swimming pool offers a great place for our many activities or to host your event!

Hi, my name is Victor Chacon Jr. and I’d like to welcome you to our campground. During my 20 years of Service in the U.S Army , I thought about ways to spend time with my family and how to make sure they enjoy all this world has to offer. This dream has come to life here at Sleepy Dragon Campground.
Here, we invite you to enjoy all nature has to offer while sipping on an ice cold drink from our snack counter. We have many outdoor activities we know you’ll love, so if you are looking for a place to escape your worries and relax, this is the place for you.
